Back to Back Blockbuster Movies
It was February 21, 2014 when VIVA Entertainment announced the cast of Diary Ng Panget.
“Who are these people?” - This was the initial reaction of DNP fans. But from a nobody, James and
Nadine, alongside Yassi and Andre, became that ‘somebody’ to watch out for after a successful first day 15 million ticket sales of DNP. The film achieved an over-all gross sale of 120 Million, according to Box Office Mojo.
Diary ng Panget kicked off the career of James and Nadine, now dubbed as ‘JaDine.’ Boss Vic Del Rosario designed JaDine not just as TV Personality, but most likely MOVIE STARS. More often than not, you have to have a high-rated Teleserye first before having your own film - but for JaDine, it’s the other way around.
It was May 2014 when VIVA revealed that JaDine will stage another Wattpad Story entitled “Talk Back and You’re Dead!”. It’s again under the direction of Direk Andoy Ranay and co-produced by Skylight Films (Star Cinema).

August 20, 2014 - all activities of TBYD trended on social media. TBYD achieved an over all gross

Coming from an Artist Agency that produced big stars / concert icons the likes of Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, Rechelle Anne Go, there's no doubt that James and Nadine would also make it as the next big thing in the music industry!

As a thanksgiving gift to all DNP Fans, VIVA Live Inc., produced a concert showcasing the talents of DNP rising stars, now dubbed as VIVA’s #CineGang (or Fab Four) - James, Nadine, Yassi and Andre. It was staged last July 11, 2014 in SM North Edsa SkyDome.
If DNP has ‘No Erase’ as its official movie soundtrack, James and Nadine recorded another super-’kilig’ movie soundtrack for TBYD entitled “Bahala Na.” Thanks to Thyro and Yumi for composing these two chart-topping hits of JaDine.
Just like DNP, “Bahala Na” climbed to the Number 2 Spot on MYX Daily Countdown, it became one of the most requested songs on Radio Stations and on MTV Pinoy for how many weeks.

I couldn’t be any prouder that publishing companies offered them a cover-feature, considering that it was just their 6th month in the showbiz limelight back then.

We have witnessed a lot of OJD Moments during the BTS of JaDine’s guesting as celebrity VJ’s of MTV Pinoy.

Two Network Giants became interested on getting James and Nadine as their exclusive artists. Though it seemed like a tug of war between Kapuso and Kapamilya, at the end, the latter won the most-coveted "YES" of James and Nadine.

September 2014 when Dreamscape (a production unit of ABSCBN) launched the first ABSCBN TV Project of JaDine. It's Wansapanataym presents "My App Boyfie" under the direction of Direk Jojo Saguin. JaDine's "My App Boyfie" was the winner of weekend ratings, as stated on Kantar Media's report.
Not a miss, My App Boyfie Episodes had been the number one trending topic in the Philippines every weekend. For its finale episode, My App Boyfie became the number one trending topic not only in the Philippines, but also Worldwide.
